Adolescents
Therapy for adolescents
Teenagers carry more than they often let on. Therapy gives them a place of their own to set it down.
What teens often bring
- Anxiety, stress, and pressure around school.
- Low mood or withdrawal.
- Friendship and social difficulties.
- Questions about identity.
- Family conflict or big family changes.
How we work with it
We build a relationship your teen can trust, at their pace. Parents are part of the picture, and we talk openly at the start about how communication and confidentiality will work.
We work with adolescents ages 12 and up.
Getting started
Sessions are offered by teletherapy anywhere in California, with in-person sessions available in San Diego. A free 15-minute phone consultation is the simplest first step.
